van der Waals heterostructures and superlattices are interesting due to their emerging physical properties, but they are usually fabricated via complex top-down methods. Here, the authors report a chemical vapor transport method to synthesize NbSe2-based 1T/1H superlattice single crystals, showing hybridized electronic properties from the constituent layers.
