In the version of the article initially published, in Supplementary Fig. 6a, the sixth image (Actin image in TaPIR1OE) was a duplicate of the eighth image (Actin image in TaPIR1OE) in Fig. 3a. In addition, the original version of this article incorrectly marked TaPIR1OE as TaHRP1OE in Supplementary Fig. 6a–c. Supplementary Fig. 6 has now been amended, and the corrected Supplementary information can be found alongside the online version of the article.
