In this article the reference to ‘Figs 7a and 8a’ in the paragraph starting ‘For CO2 concentrations, uncertainty due to emissions is greater than uncertainty due to climate by the end of the century, especially for the Reference ensemble (Figs. 7a and 8a)’ should instead have referred to ‘Figs 6a and 7a’.
