  1. The baseline is the original SORT4. Benchmark sequences include those designed to evaluate complex crossing scenes (Cross), as well as standard benchmark sequences (MOT17)62,63. The Cross benchmark sequences are provided in Supplementary Data 1. The HOTA higher order tracking accuracy evaluation metric65,66 is used, which consists of three sub-metrics: AssA association accuracy, DetA detection accuracy, and LocA localization accuracy. Higher values indicate better performance, as shown by the upward arrow. This table lists the HOTA scores for the proposed MOT system, with values in parentheses indicating relative improvements (%) over the baseline.
