The phylogeny includes 16,585 species and 3,029 genera of vascular plants native to China. The sampled 6,265 species endemic to China are highlighted with red branches. Major clades, including ferns, lycophytes, gymnosperms, basal angiosperms, monocots, magnoliids, basal eudicots, superrosids and superasterids, are indicated with different coloured stripes encircling the tree. Calibration points are shown with black dots. Ma: million years ago.
