The Editors have retracted this article. After publication, concerns that there was insufficient evidence for the transitional cerebellar progenitor (TCP) population were brought to the attention of the Editors. The authors have provided a response1 to the issues. Expert post-publication peer review has validated the concern about the existence of TCP population based on the data and analyses in the published paper, casting doubt on a key novel conclusion of the paper. The authors do not agree with this retraction.
