a 1D 1H NMR spectra of 100 μM paracetamol in pure buffer measured in dark mode (no photo-CIDNP), laser mode (1 s of laser illumination) and with gated illumination (0.2 s of laser irradiation). b–d Same after doping samples with 40% of urine I, II, or IV, respectively. Black spectra are reference spectra of the urine background without paracetamol. All spectra were measured at 14.1 T with 64 scans. SNEs were calculated in comparison to the dark spectrum measured with modified W5 and no urine addition.
