Am M5-edge HR-XANES spectra of the 5 mol% Am-doped ZrO2 sample performed on the Am M5-edge with the standards Am4+O2 and Am3+VO4, as well as U0.80Am3+0.20O2−x (sintered)28. The vertical dashed blue and black lines correspond to the white line positions, representing the Am3+VO4 and Am4+O2 standards, respectively, which define the Am3+ and Am4+ oxidation state reference positions.
