National Level Scoring | ||
|---|---|---|
Category | Description | Score |
1 | Settlements that show extremely high-risk factors or opportunities according to general urban development strategies: a combination of untapped potential for integration into the urban fabric, poor connectivity and accessibility, and insufficient open public space. | 90–100 |
2 | Settlements that show high risk factors or opportunities according to general urban development strategies: high scores in all 3 parameters (urban condition, connectivity and accessibility, and density and quality of built environment) or rank very high in two of these. | 70–89.9 |
3 | Settlements that show a medium level of risk or opportunity according to general urban development strategies: moderate scores in all 3 parameters (urban condition, connectivity and accessibility, and density and quality of built environment) or rank very high or low in 1 of the 3. | 50–69.9 |
4 | Settlements that show low risk factors or opportunities according to general urban development strategies: low scores in all 3 parameters (urban condition, connectivity and accessibility, and density and quality of built environment) or very low in 2 of the 3. | 30–49.9 |
6 | Settlements that show low risk factors or opportunities according to general urban development strategies: typically, they show a combination of good integration in the urban fabric, high levels of accessibility and connection, and have sufficient open public space and green areas for their inhabitants. It is possible, but unlikely, that settlements which rank very high in one of the three parameters (urban condition, connectivity and accessibility, and density and quality of built environment) and very low in the other two may fall within this category. | 0–29.9 |
