  1. Continuous values are presented as the median with the IQR. The significance of differences by tau PET status were evaluated with Wilcoxon’s ranked sum tests for continuous variables and χ2 or Fisher’s exact test for categorical variables. The cut-off for tau PET positivity was set at SUVR > 1.32 for the Braak I–IV region. All tests were two sided and not adjusted for multiple comparisons.
