Distributions of the calculated radiation, clinical, and total risk for the whole population of 1 million patients, assuming typical false positive to true positive ratio of \({\beta }_{0}=5 \%\) and average radiologist interpretative performance of \({{AUC}}_{0}=0.75\). \({{CTDI}}_{{vol}}\) ranged between 1.8 mGy and 50 mGy. The red line represents the median and the blue boxes represent the 1st and 3rd quartile. Values that exceed 1.5 times interquartile length (black whiskers) are in red.
