Reagents and conditions: For 24m·SbF6: 1) CD2Cl2, r.t., 1.5 hrs. 2) 2.0 eq. Et3N, CD2Cl2, r.t., 61% over 2 steps. For 24l·SbF6: 1) CD2Cl2, −10 °C to r.t., 2 hrs. 2) 2.0 eq. Et3N, CD2Cl2, r.t. 68% over 2 steps.
