Comprehensive assessment of the contribution of wastewater treatment to urban greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions

Extensive measurements of the emissions of methane, nitrous oxide and ammonia from wastewater treatment facilities in the USA present higher values than are currently stated in national inventories. The results of this analysis show that greenhouse gas and nitrogenous emissions from the wastewater sector are often overlooked and that their impact on climate should be reassessed.

Senaparib as first-line maintenance therapy in advanced ovarian cancer: a randomized phase 3 trial

In a prespecified interim analysis of the multicenter, randomized, phase 3 FLAMES trial, maintenance therapy with a PARP inhibitor in patients with ovarian cancer showed prolonged progression-free survival compared with placebo in all subgroups defined by BRCA or homologous recombination status.

Breakdown of the scaling relation of anomalous Hall effect in Kondo lattice ferromagnet USbTe

Kondo systems offer a rich platform to study the interplay between strong correlations and topology. Here the authors observe a large anomalous Hall conductivity in a Kondo ferromagnet USbTe, which they attribute to the Berry curvature originating from flat bands induced by the Kondo hybridization.

There are few reports of ferroelectricity due to symmetry breaking transition in A-site-ordered quadruple perovskites.
