KIF11 prevents retinal endothelial ferroptosis in familial exudative vitreoretinopathy by inhibiting phosphorylation-driven PRDX1 phase separation

The core downstream mediator of the Norrin/β-catenin pathway remain elusive, hindering the treatment of familial exudative vitreoretinopathy. Here, the authors show that KIF11 acts as a key effector of this axis by preventing phosphorylation-driven PRDX1 phase separation and subsequent ferroptosis.

ETV7 promotes 5-FU resistance and malignant progression through CXCL1-induced NETs formation in colorectal cancer

ETV7 drives colorectal cancer progression and 5-fluorouracil resistance by upregulating CXCL1, which promotes neutrophil recruitment and NET formation, creating a pro-tumor microenvironment. Targeting this ETV7–CXCL1–NETs axis reduces chemoresistance and tumor aggressiveness.
