Angiosarcoma is a rare and highly aggressive malignancy arising from the endothelial lining of blood or lymphatic vessels. Emerging strategies focus on targeted therapies—such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors against VEGF receptors—and immunotherapies, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors, which have shown activity in selected patient cohorts. The development of patient-derived preclinical models, including three-dimensional organoids, promises personalised drug screening and mechanistic insights. A coordinated, multidisciplinary approach is essential to improve outcomes for this challenging disease.
