A multinational randomised controlled trial evaluated a nine-month supervised exercise programme in individuals with metastatic breast cancer, demonstrating significant reductions in physical fatigue and improvements in overall health-related quality of life compared with usual care. Effect sizes, although modest, underscored the feasibility and safety of structured exercise even in advanced disease. The trial highlights exercise as a viable supportive-care component that can be integrated into oncology services to address persistent symptom burden and enhance daily functioning.
