In parallel, advances in molecular diagnostics have delivered a rapid, multiplexed PCR platform capable of simultaneous detection of multiple human coronaviruses and key SARS-CoV-2 variants. This technology enhances the speed and breadth of viral surveillance, supporting more timely clinical decision-making and epidemiological monitoring.
