Interventions such as improved local exhaust systems, substitution of hazardous chemicals and routine health surveillance can mitigate adverse outcomes. A comprehensive understanding of exposure pathways, dose–response relationships and effective control measures is fundamental to safeguarding the health of nail salon workers worldwide.
