Summary
Head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) encompass a diverse group of tumours arising from the mucosal surfaces of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx. Liquid biopsy approaches and computational modelling are emerging to personalise therapy, anticipate recurrence and guide salvage interventions. Globally, these innovations aim to transform HNSCC care from empiric multimodality protocols towards biomarker-driven strategies that both prolong survival and enhance quality of life.
