Grafting: Surgical insertion of mantle tissue and a nucleus into recipient oysters to initiate pearl formation within the pearl sac.

Pelagic Larval Duration (PLD): The period during which oyster larvae remain in the water column before settlement, influencing dispersal distance and genetic connectivity.

Lantern Net: A floating cage system composed of stacked mesh trays used to rear juvenile oysters in the water column, facilitating water exchange and growth.
