Psychosocial Health and Preventive Services for Children and Families

Psychosocial health in childhood encompasses emotional well-being, behavioural adaptation and social functioning within the family, school and wider community. Early-life stressors, socio-economic disadvantage and migration background can undermine healthy development, manifesting as emotional dysregulation, behavioural difficulties or impaired cognitive outcomes.
