Social Justice Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education

Social justice pedagogy in early childhood education is a deliberate approach that integrates principles of equity, inclusion and critical reflection into every aspect of teaching and learning with young children. It goes beyond multicultural tokenism to engage learners in understanding power relations, systemic disadvantage and the lived experiences of diverse communities.
