Vocational Education and Training Workforce Development

Vocational Education and Training (VET) workforce development encompasses the strategies, policies and practices designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge demanded by contemporary labour markets. Competency-based assessment: An evaluation approach that measures learners’ ability to demonstrate specified skills and performance standards rather than solely relying on theoretical knowledge.

Stakeholder ecosystem: The network of all parties—governments, employers, educators and learners—involved in the planning, governance and delivery of vocational training and workforce development initiatives.
