Kudus et al. develop a segmentation-free deep learning pipeline to predict BRAF status in pediatric low-grade gliomas from whole-brain MRI. The model performs comparably to segmentation-based approaches, improves with pretraining, and is most accurate for identifying BRAF Fusion.
