Detailed equity maps guided recommendations for reshaping service distribution. In Guinea’s Grand Conakry conurbation, least-cost path analysis calculated travel times to childbirth care by facility type and wealth quintile. While nearly all women live within 30 minutes of some facility, coverage for public hospitals falls markedly and traffic congestion disproportionately affects poorer communes. These integrative spatial methods quantify inequities and direct targeted infrastructure and service reforms.
