Summary
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a strengths‐based, collaborative change methodology that seeks to transform organisations by focusing on what works well rather than diagnosing problems. Originating in the late 1980s, AI reframes organisational development through a four‐stage cycle—Discover, Dream, Design and Destiny—where stakeholders collectively identify their “positive core” and co-create a preferred future.
