A comprehensive continent‐level study of 100-mile ultra-marathons over 150 years applied both macro‐ and micro‐analytical methods to more than 148,000 finishers. The investigation identified Africa as a hotspot for the fastest male performances and Europe and Africa for the fastest female outcomes, while North America and Europe supplied the greatest number of participants. Country‐level ranking highlighted Sweden, Hungary and Russia among the top female performers and Brazil, Russia and Lithuania for men. Regression analyses demonstrated shifting age and sex patterns over time, pointing to evolving training and selection influences across regions.
