Journal Information
Nature Health is a new online journal, to be launched in January 2026, publishing original peer-reviewed research in all areas of health on the basis of its originality, timeliness, interdisciplinary interest and impact on health policy and practice. Nature Health also publishes commissioned content, including Reviews and Perspectives, aimed at contextualizing the latest advances in health research to reach a wide audience of readers. All editorial decisions are made by a team of full-time professional editors.
Nature Health prioritizes research conducted in resource-limited settings, including in low- and middle-income countries of the global south as well as in disadvantaged populations in high-income countries. The journal considers all types of public, global and population health research.
Online publication
Nature Health is an exclusively online publication. Articles are published using an Advanced Online Publication process, giving our authors an earlier publication date and allowing our readers to access papers several weeks before they appear in a specific issue. Note that papers published online are definitive and may be altered only through the publication of an Addendum or Correction, so authors should make every effort to ensure that the page proofs are correct.
